HiSET state requirements & myHiSET account access
Each state or jurisdiction has its own testing requirements and policies. Some require you to be a minimum age or resident of that state, or to take a preparation course before taking the exam. In addition, fees and retesting rules may vary.
Before you schedule your exam, it’s important that you read and understand the policies for the state or jurisdiction where you plan to take it.
If you do not live in a HiSET state, you may be able to take your exam out-of-state . Check your state’s requirements to find out.
