How to create your myHiSET Account
Step-by-step: Create your myHiSET account
Watch this short video to learn how to create and access your myHiSET account with PSI.
Step 1: Select your state
Go to the test taker requirements page and find your state in the dropdown menu.
Step 2: Click to access your state’s login page
Click on the ‘my HiSET Login’ button to go to your state’s myHiSET account creation / login page.
Step 3: Click create account and acknowledge requirements
After clicking ‘Create Account’, click on the links to review the basic state requirements and then click on ‘I agree’.
Step 4: Add your account details
Enter your personal details and click ‘Create Account’. It is important that the name you use to create an account matches the name on the ID documents you will use to prove your identity on test day.
IMPORTANT: If you have previously had a HiSET account, use the same email and last name as your previous account. This ensures your new account is automatically linked to your HiSET history.
Step 5: Verify your email address – Part 1
Check your email inbox for the verification code.
Step 6: Verify your email address – Part 2
Enter the code in the ‘Email Verification’ field. Click ‘Continue’.
Step 7: Verify your mobile number – Part 1
To receive SMS Updates & Alerts confirm or enter your Mobile Number and click ‘Send Code’.
Step 8: Verify your mobile number – Part 2
Check your phone for the SMS verification code.
Step 9: Verify your mobile number – Part 3
Enter the verification code in the designated field and click ‘Continue’.
Step 10: Create password
Create a password the meets the requirements. Click ‘Create Account’.
Step 11: Account creation
After completing all steps, you will receive a confirmation email.
Already have an account with ETS?
If you previously had an account with ETS, be sure to create your PSI HiSET account using the same last name and email address. This ensures you will have access to your historical HiSET records.
